Pure Energy Hair Studio is a fun, hip and nurturing Aveda Concept Salon that exhibits a true passion for providing excellent service, exceptional skill and a positive salon experience. We are committed to consistently implementing Aveda’s philosophy of connecting beauty, wellness and care for the environment.

Our facility offers a warm, uplifting and inviting ambiance, as well as a full AVEDA retail boutique, blending the complete line of Aveda’s hair, skin, body and make-up products with the exclusive use of Aveda’s hair color in our salon.

Owner, Jennifer Bobal, established Pure Energy in December 2001, with a vision of building a positive, uplifting and creative salon.

Within a year of opening Pure Energy, I began to build a talented, dedicated and friendly team that shared in my vision.  Our Team goes above and beyond to exceed our guest’s expectations each and every visit.  I am grateful for my amazing team; it is because of them and our unmatched teamwork that we are able to touch so many people’s lives everyday.  We are strongly connected to the Aveda mission and their products and love being able to use the entire product line in our salon”.

Appointments
Please arrive for your scheduled appointment on time or even a little early to ensure your services run as smoothly as possible. Enjoy a beverage, look through some of our styling portfolios, latest fashion, wellness and fitness magazines or browse through our retail area. Adjust to the atmosphere and enjoy the experience!!  

As much as we would like, we cannot guarantee service for late arrivals. We will try our best to accommodate you, but please understand that your appointment may need to be rescheduled or possibly abbreviate the intended service.

Cancellations
We ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment so that we can accommodate another guest who may be waiting for a service.  

For services that require extra time, we will need a credit card to reserve your appointment.  Should you have to cancel your appointment last minute; a 50% fee of the missed service will be charged.  

Children
We love children!  However, we are concerned for their safety while they are in our salon. We kindly ask that if you bring a child that is not getting a service, please make sure they are well behaved.  We are committed to providing a relaxing and stress-free atmosphere for all of our guests. Retail Policy
Products may be returned within 1 week of purchase for an exchange of a more suitable product.  Our team will help you determine what product will be best for you!

FROM GSP NORTHBOUND

Take Garden State Parkway North to exit 150 (Hoover Ave/Belleville/Bloomfield). Turn right onto Hoover Ave. At first light, turn left onto Bloomfield Ave. At second light, turn right onto Centre St. At second light, turn left onto FranklinAve. After the first light, Pure Energy Hair Studio will be on the right.

FROM GSP SOUTHBOUND

Take Garden State Parkway South to exit 153 to merge onto NJ-3 E (Lincoln Tunnel). Take the Passaic Ave exit (NJ-7/Nutley/Passaic). At the end of exit ramp, make a right. At next stop sign, make a sharp left onto Passaic Ave. Continue on Cathedral Ave (Passaic Ave will turn in to Cathedral). At fork, make a slight left onto Kingsland St. At first light make a left onto Franklin Ave. After second light, Pure Energy Hair Studio will be on the left.

FROM ROUTE 3 WEST

Take the NJ-7/Nutley/Passaic Ave. At the end of exit ramp, make a right. At next stop sign, make a sharp left onto Passaic Ave. Continue on Cathedral Ave (Passaic Ave will turn in to Cathedral). At fork, make a slight left onto Kingsland St. At first light make a left onto Franklin Ave. After second light, Pure Energy Hair Studio will be on the left.

FROM ROUTE 3 EAST

Head Southeast on NJ-3E. Exit onto NJ-17North. Make a slight right to merge onto NJ-3West. Take the NJ-7/Nutley/Passaic Ave. At the end of exit ramp, make a right. At next stop sign, make a sharp left onto Passaic Ave. Continue on Cathedral Ave (Passaic Ave will turn in to Cathedral). At fork, make a slight left onto Kingsland St. At first light make a left onto Franklin Ave. After second light, Pure Energy Hair Studio will be on the left.

FROM ROUTE 46 WEST

Head west on US-46West to Garden State Parkway South. Take exit 153 on the left to merge onto NJ-3E (toward Lincoln Tunnel). Take the NJ-7/Nutley/Passaic Ave. At the end of exit ramp, make a right. Continue to merge onto GSP North to exit 150 (Hoover Ave/Belleville/Bloomfield). Turn right onto Hoover Ave. At first light, turn left onto Bloomfield Ave. At second light, turn right onto Centre St. At second light, turn left onto FranklinAve. After the first light, Pure Energy Hair Studio will be on the right.
