History

Owner, Jennifer Bobal, established Pure Energy in December 2001, with a vision of building a positive, uplifting and creative salon.  

“I wanted a unique salon were I could make women and men look and feel their absolute best in an atmosphere that was warm and welcoming. Within a year of opening Pure Energy, I began to build a talented, dedicated and friendly team that shared in my vision.  Our Team goes above and beyond to exceed our guest’s expectations each and every visit.  I am grateful for my amazing team; it is because of them and our unmatched teamwork that we are able to touch so many people’s lives everyday.  We are strongly connected to the Aveda mission and their products and love being able to use the entire product line in our salon”.

• In November 2011, Pure Energy was recognized by Suburban Essex Magazine as one of the top 3 "Best Hair Salons" in Essex County, N.J.
• In 2011, Pure Energy was awarded “Business of the year” from Strategies, the premiere provider of business education and coaching for the salon spa industry.
• In 2006, Pure Energy was recognized for being one of the fastest growing salons in the country by “Salon Today Magazine”.
