Pure Energy Hair Studio was a co-sponsor for this special event along with Avon that was held at the Nutley High School on Monday March 19th. Owner Jennifer Bobal teamed up with the Nutley Women’s Initiative and Mayor Joanne Cocchiola to help organize “All About Me” in honor of Women’s History Month.
The evening kicked off with a presentation given by Dr. Jeanine B. Downie, Director of Dermatology in Montclair N.J, and followed with numerous break out sessions from local businesses that included massage, color and make-up analysis, nutrition, hair styling, home interiors and self help sessions. Over 150 women were in attendance getting pampered, plucked, massaged, stretched, consulted… and empowered. “The event was a huge success for it’s inaugural year,” said Mayor Joanne Cocchiola.
Pure Energy Hair Studio provided guests with an assortment of services that included hair consultations, styling and cutting, make-up applications with Aveda’s new spring colors, scalp massages, and Caribbean hand treatments.
“It was an honor to have been chosen to be a co-sponsor for this special evening and also to have had the opportunity to work with the Women’s Initiative of Nutley. I am extremely proud of my team for their hard work and dedication towards making this event a huge success and reality. We are looking forward to next year,” says owner Jennifer Bobal.
